I’ve found myself trying to accomplish and overcome things through my own futile efforts and willpower and often fall short. This painting was a reminder to myself that I must turn to God for guidance and support in all things.

100% of profits from print sales of this work will be donated to Highways and Hedges, a Christian nonprofit local to me in Hickory, N.C. They spread the gospel and meet tangible needs in my community by providing services and outreach to nursing homes, college students, and homeless and incarcerated individuals.
